Dr. Wood was raised locally here in West Hills and has been practicing family medicine in West Knoxville since 1998.
He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and his medical degree from East Tennessee State University, James H. Quillen College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at East Carolina University of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Family Practice and Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice.
He is married to his high school sweetheart and has two grown children. He enjoys sailing, cycling, traveling, and fly fishing in both fresh and saltwater.
He enjoys helping his patients with both urgent problems and Prevention of disease. He is available to see patients at both of our convenient locations.
